MatCare is dedicated to creating a safe, spiritually nurturing environment for individuals on their transformative journeys from homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse. We honor the path of independence of every person who seeks solace, assistance, or support through our comprehensive programs.
Vision statement:
Our vision is to establish and manage permanent supportive housing for men who are courageously overcoming homelessness, particularly those grappling with mental illness, substance abuse, or other disabling conditions. Our commitment is to offer a coordinated and compassionate approach that includes secure housing, nourishing meals, vital physical healthcare, substance abuse aftercare, mental health counseling, personal development, and empowerment. In addition, we are dedicated to providing job assessment, training, and placement assistance.
At MatCare, we firmly believe that the key to success lies in helping these resilient individuals attain the ability to secure and maintain gainful employment and independent housing. We recognize the significance of collaborative efforts with local, state, and federal government agencies, as well as other organizations providing essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
