DJ Matchen, CEO of MatCare, brings a rich background spanning three decades in the automotive industry, initially excelling in car sales before transitioning to finance and insurance management. His automotive financial management experience, coupled with a passion for helping others, led him to the role of House Supervisor at TruCare Transitional Housing in 2019. With swift progression, he assumed the role of assistanting the Director, demonstrating a commitment to empowering those in need. In response to a calling to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals grappling with substance abuse, mental illness, and homelessness, MatCare was birthed. His visionary leadership guides the organization's mission to provide safe, dignified, and empowering housing solutions while fostering self-sufficiency and hope among its clients.

 Frederick Matchem, MatCare's Chief Operating Officer, and a retired U.S. Army Senior Military Leader with over 35 years of distinguished service, brings extensive expertise to his role. His seasoned career encompasses comprehensive supervisory experience, particularly in Life Cycle Management from "Cradle to Grave," overseeing critical programs like Weapons Directorate, Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN), and Logistics/Acquisition & Sustainment Support. Frederick is a strategic problem solver with a keen focus on readiness and complex technical challenges, along with a strong commitment to fostering fairness and inclusivity in programs such as Equal Employment Opportunities. His skillful leadership extends to talent management, system-oriented program management, and integration of hardware and software requirements across multifunctional teams, demonstrating a profound dedication to MatCare's mission of providing safe, dignified, and empowering housing solutions. As COO, Frederick plays a pivotal role in empowering individuals facing adversity and nurturing self-sufficiency and hope.
